Horst Veith is a German inventor, hygiene expert and entrepreneur.

Life

Horst Veith grew up near Aschaffenburg . Even in his childhood he strived to market a wide variety of things. As a twelve-year-old, he collected landless windfalls, brought it to central collection points and received money for it. Five years later he developed a concertina gate that clamps between the door frames and prevents children from leaving a safe area. To this day Horst Veith has produced numerous other inventions such as the safety belt for child seats, the bottle opener with gas cartridge and the anti-SARS spray. Today Veith lives on Tegernsee and on Mallorca .

Hygiene expert

Among other things, Veith examines the degree of soiling of mattresses. He makes experiments and deals with the inner workings of numerous mattresses. On the basis of the knowledge gained from this, Veith developed a special cleaning system. The chemical-free process is used for deep cleaning of mattresses and covers.

The mattress is cleaned through the use of UV radiation and high-frequency vibrations. The UVC radiation emitted has a germicidal effect. This special cleaning for mattresses is now used by more than 6,000 independent service providers worldwide. In addition, Veith developed a special spray without chemical substances that is used on mattresses and all other textile surfaces. The multi-action spray prevents the house dust mite from spreading.

Further inventions in the field of hygiene are a carpet cleaning system, a pollutant check using a probe and the UV cleaning of glasses in restaurants. For years, Veith has also proven his expertise in numerous television programs. To do this, he carries out hygiene tests in front of the camera.

Media appearances

Veith completed over 60 television appearances. He carried out hygiene tests, sometimes accompanied by a hidden camera. Horst Veith also moderated several travel magazines and stood in front of the camera for ARD , ZDF , RTL , RTL II , VOX , BR , Sat.1 , ProSieben and Kabel eins , among others . In addition, the life and inventions of Horst Veith were also the subject of numerous press reports in print and online media.
