Horst Wiemann (born October 18, 1960 in Eutin ) is a German handball trainer and former player.
Horst Wiemann began playing handball in Malente as a child . From 1978 onwards, the 1.83 meter long runner played in the handball league at THW Kiel . In 1991 he moved to the second division club SG Flensburg-Handewitt , a year later he was promoted to the Bundesliga with Flensburg. In 1994 Wiemann returned to the THW, with which he won the German championship in 1995 and 1996 . During these two years he was also assistant to the Kiel coach Zvonimir Serdarušić . After he had ended his playing career in 1996, Wiemann was reactivated in 1997 due to personnel problems at the THW.
Later Horst Wiemann trained the district league team of SG Bordesholm / Bruges.
