Horta das Figueiras is a former municipality ( freguesia ) of the Portuguese city of Évora . The community had 10,442 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Horta das Figueiras and Malagueira were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Malagueira e Horta das Figueiras .
