Malagueira is a former municipality ( freguesia ) of the Portuguese city of Évora . The community had 12,370 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Malagueira and Horta das Figueiras were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Malagueira e Horta das Figueiras . Malagueira is the official seat of this newly formed community.
