The Hotelverband Deutschland (IHA) eV is the industry association for the hotel industry in Germany with its headquarters in Berlin. It was founded in 1992 in Bonn by the members of its predecessor organization, the German section of the "International Hotel Association", whose abbreviation "IHA" is still in its name today. The Hotelverband Deutschland (IHA) has around 1,400 hotels from the individual, cooperative and chain hotels, which represent a market share of 20 percent based on room capacity (as of July 2016).

The hotel association represents the interests of the hotel industry on a national and international level vis-à-vis politics and the public. The IHA supports its members exclusively with professional and specialized services.

In 2001, the hotel association also took over the management of the hotel sector of the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA Bundesverband). This has created a uniform representation of the entire hotel and accommodation sector in Germany at the federal level.
