Howard Hotson
Howard Hotson (* 1959 ) is a British historian .
Life
He studied at the University of Toronto (Trinity College, BA, MA) and at Corpus Christi College (Oxford) ( DPhil ). He has held research grants at the Institute for European History , Brasenose College , Herzog August Library , Max Planck Institute for History , William Andrews Clark Memorial Library and the British Academy (Research Readership). He was Professor of Early Modern History at the University of Aberdeen . He is Professor of Early Modern Intellectual History at Oxford .
