Hreidmar

In Norse mythology , Hreidmar was the greedy king and wizard of a dwarf - or giant - people. Father of the brothers Fafnir , Otur and Reginn and the sisters Lyngheid and Lofnheid.

With the help of his sons, the sir Odin , Hönir and Loki , after the manslaughter of Otur, Hreidmar imprisoned with unbreakable chains. This had him as wergild the gold treasure of Andwari itemizing.

Fafnir killed his father because of the treasure on which the curse of Andwari lay.

Lying dying, he asks his daughter Lyngheid to see that she gives birth to a daughter whose son should avenge the murder of him.
