Huaso (horse)
Huaso (* 1933 ; † August 24, 1961 ) was an English thoroughbred horse that was ridden by the Chilean officer Alberto Larraguibel . Huaso was born in Chile and was originally called Faithful.
Larraguibel and his horse jumped the still valid world record in the puissance on 5. February 1949 in which it the height of 2.47 m in Vina del Mar skipped. This makes this record one of the longest unbroken records in sport.
