Hubert Annen

Hubert Annen (* 1963 ) is a Swiss psychologist , military scientist and colonel in the Swiss Army . Since 1999 he has headed the lectureship for military psychology and military education at the military academy at ETH Zurich .

Professional career

Hubert Annen initially worked as a primary school teacher. This was followed by a degree in psychology , pedagogy and neuropsychology at the University of Zurich , which he graduated in 1996. In the same year he became a lecturer for leadership at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and assistant at the lectureship for leadership and communication at the Military Academy at the ETH Zurich (MILAK).

In December 1999 the doctorate to Dr. phil in psychology at the University of Zurich with a dissertation on personnel appraisal. Annen was also appointed lecturer for military psychology and education at MILAK. From 2008 to 2013 he was also head of research and teaching at the same institution.
