Hubert Ingraham

Hubert Alexander Ingraham (born August 4, 1947 in Pine Ridge on Grand Bahama ) was Prime Minister of the Bahamas from 1992 to 2002 and again from 2007 to 2012 . He is a member of the Free National Movement (FNM).

Ingraham lost his post as prime minister through the election success of the Progressive Liberal Party in the parliamentary elections in 2002. He was also a member of the House of Assembly for the North Abaco constituency .

The FNM emerged victorious from the elections on May 2, 2007. On May 4, 2007, Ingraham was again Prime Minister of the Bahamas. In the May 7, 2012 elections, the PLP won an absolute majority, Ingram resigned and his predecessor Perry Christie was again prime minister.

He is married to Delores Miller, a public high school principal, and has five children with her.
