Hubert Koundé

Hubert Koundé (born December 30, 1970 ) is a Benin- French actor and author.

Koundé was best known as the leading actor in Mathieu Kassovitz's first two feature films : “Lola loves black and white” (1992, “Métisse”) and Hass (1995, “La Haine”). He has also made a name for himself as a theater and series actor (2006, “Plus belle la vie”), screenwriter (2003, “Cagoule: Valentin et Yamina”) and short film director.

In 1996 he was nominated for a César as "Best Young Male Actor".
