Hubert Pilčík

Hubert Pilčík (born July 23, 1895 in Nový Hrozenkov , † September 9, 1951 in Pilsen ) was a Czechoslovak serial killer .

Life

Hubert Pilčík worked as a locksmith in a Škoda factory in Pilsen. He later married Antonia Pilčík, who was eleven years his junior. The marriage remained childless.

After the Second World War , Pilčík began smuggling people to Austria and West Germany in 1948 . However, he began murdering his customers as early as 1948. Between 1948 and 1951, when he was arrested, he killed around 5 to 10 people. After his arrest and a trial in which he was charged with 5 murders, he committed suicide in a prison in Pilsen on September 9, 1951.
