Hubert Priemel
Hubert Priemel (born October 29, 1936 in Deutsch Eylau ) is a German local politician ( CDU ).
Career
After the end of the Second World War, Priemel came to Ahrensburg with his mother and sister from his hometown Deutsch Eylau (West Prussia) . He attended schools in Hamburg and earned money as a newspaper deliverer. He later found employment with a health insurance company. In 1957 he founded the Junge Union in Ahrensburg together with his long-time political companion Michael von Schmude . Nine years later he became city councilor in Ahrensburg and was district president of the Stormarn district from April 1974 to April 1998 . He is currently the deputy state chairman of the Seniors' Union in Schleswig-Holstein.
