Hubert Schulte (politician)

Hubert Schulte (born January 8, 1945 in Menden ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

education and profession

Schulte attended elementary school and completed an apprenticeship as a high-voltage electrician at the lime works in Hönnetal from 1959 to 1962 . He then worked there from 1962 to 1970 as a company electrician. From 1970 to 1972 he attended the technical college and received his degree as an electronics technician in 1972. Schulte worked as a technician from 1972 to 1975 and was a master electrician from 1975 to 1995.

Schulte is married and has two daughters.

politics

Schulte came into politics through his commitment as a youth spokesman for the lime works. He has been a member of the CDU since 1968 and was chairman of the CDU city association of Menden from 1992 to 2000. From 1995 to 2010 he was deputy chairman of the CDU association in the Märkisches Kreis . Schulte has been a member of the city council of Menden since 1984 and has been deputy chairman of the CDU parliamentary group there since 1987. From 1995 to 2010 he was a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament , where he represented the constituency of Märkischer Kreis IV until 2005 , which then became part of the Märkischer Kreis II constituency .
