Hubert Wißkirchen
Hubert Wißkirchen (born November 4, 1934 in Swisttal-Ludendorf ; † July 8, 2018 in Stommeln ) was a German music teacher .
Life
Hubert Wißkirchen studied school music at the Cologne University of Music and Dance , musicology and Latin at the University of Cologne . From 1964 to 1999 he taught music and Latin at the municipal Humboldt-Gymnasium in Düsseldorf , and from 1990 to 2006 he taught music education at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. As a member of the NRW guidelines commission and as a music consultant to the regional president in Düsseldorf, he had a decisive influence on the redesign of the guidelines for music in NRW for many years.
Wißkirchen became known nationwide through his didactic analyzes of music, which he developed as a specialist in music at the study seminar in Düsseldorf and which he imparted pedagogically in numerous events and conferences for teacher training at regional, state and federal level. His music pedagogical writings, published by major publishers, contain many graphic scores and audio sketches in combination with didactic preparation of excerpts from music, source texts and illustrations. Wißkirchen visualized structural processes in musical works for a better understanding of music; partly designed as worksheets for secondary school students.
Hubert Wißkirchen passed away on July 8, 2018 in Pulheim - Stommeln .
