Hubert Wolf (musician)

Hubert Wolf (born October 28, 1934 in Labant , Bohemia; † August 31, 1981 ) was a Sudeten German musician and composer .

Life

Wolf completed a music degree and was director of the Original Böhmerländer wind orchestra , which played Bohemian wind music. In the 1950s and 1960s he worked as a musician for the Hessischer Rundfunk . His cover version of Instrumental Wheels received intensive airplay on Radio Luxemburg from June 1962 and was nominated for the " Golden Lion " in 1962 . In 1965 the first brass music LP, Bohemian brass music , was released.

In Egerland born Hubert Wolf from childhood with the sound of his native music was familiar. He did not play the “Egerland style”, but originally “Bohemian”: zither , violin and trumpet.

Just a few days after his last TV appearance with the Lustige Musikanten , Hubert Wolf died at the age of 46.
