Heuchelheim (Amöneburg)

Heuchelheim is a medieval desert in the area of ​​the central Hessian town of Amöneburg in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district . Along with the mill Heuchelheim and a village church is the place for the first time in the lifting role of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Mainz as of 1248 Huchilinheim and Huchelheim called. Later names were Hvchelhem (1266), Hukelhen iuxta Ameneburg (1269), Huchilnheim (1324) and Huchilheim (1380).

The Heuchelheim farm was pledged to Konrad von Seelheim in 1360 , and to Volprecht von Radenhausen in 1368 and 1404 .

The mill burned down before 1356 and was rebuilt by 1368 at the latest. However, it probably no longer existed as early as 1388. In 1433 the lands of Huchelnheyn were donated to the city of Amöneburg, and the settlement has not been mentioned since then.
