Hufschlag is a district of the community Surberg near Traunstein in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein . Politically, the place belongs to the community of Surberg, parish to the Catholic parish of St. Oswald in Traunstein.

Hufschlag belonged to the Hauptmannschaft Berg (Office Chamber ) of the Electorate of Bavaria . With the formation of the community in the Kingdom of Bavaria from 1808 to 1818, Hufschlag came to the community of Thunstetten, which in turn was united with Surberg.
