Hugh Fraser (athlete)

Hugh Lloyd Fraser (born July 10, 1952 in Kingston , Jamaica ) is a Canadian former sprinter .

At the Pan American Games in Mexico City in 1975 , he was sixth in the 100 m , fifth in the 200 m and won bronze in the 4-by-100-meter relay .

In 1976 he reached the quarter-finals at the Olympic Games in Montreal over 200 m and came in eighth place with the Canadian team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

At the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton in 1978 , he was fourth with the Canadian 4 x 100 meter relay.

Four times he was Canadian champion over 100 m (1974, 1975, 1977, 1978) and once over 200 m (1975).
