Hugo Baar (painter)
Hugo Baar (born March 3, 1873 in Neutitschein in Moravia , † June 19, 1912 in Munich ) was a painter , his focus was on landscape painting .
Hugo Baar studied at the Vienna School of Applied Arts with Hofrat Josef Stork and Rudolf Ribarz , then moved to Munich, where he continued his studies with Gabriel von Hackl and Heinrich Knirr . From 1907 he had a studio in Neutitschein, from 1904 to 1912 he took part in exhibitions as a member of the Hagenbund . In 1906 Baar was awarded the silver medal of the city of Graz for his work Weiden im Schnee .
