Hugo Höfl , later Hugo von Höfl (* in the 19th century ; † 1910 ) was a German architect and royal Bavarian construction officer .

Höfl worked in the 1890s with the rank of building officer at the Landbauamt Kempten . B. responsible for the St. Magnus church tower of the Franciscan monastery St. Bernhardin in the Kempten district of Lenzfried . The tower was built in 1892/1893 and is 56 meters high.

In April 1893, the St. Ulrich church in Wertach burned down . In 1894 Höfl was commissioned to build a new church there. He built the church with a 50 meter high tower in 1896.

Höfl expanded the Ried parish church between 1894 and 1896.

Höfl planned the St. Martin Church in Blaichach , consecrated in 1904, as early as 1890.

The St. Lorenz Church in Kempten, completed in 1674, did not get the originally planned tower domes due to lack of money. In 1896, Höfl presented his design for adding to the towers in the Allgäuer Geschichtsfreund magazine . Construction began in 1900 after donations were received. The towers were completed on December 23, 1900.

Höfl was no longer able to supervise this construction himself, however, as he was transferred to the Supreme Building Authority in Munich in March 1898 to take over the position of senior building officer for the agricultural sector from Georg Paucker in the rank of government and district building council .

Höfl planned various new court buildings for the Supreme Building Authority , most recently the Palace of Justice in Nuremberg , which was started in 1909 and which he did not live to see completion in 1916.

Höfl was raised to the personal nobility as an award for his professional services . Hugo-von-Höfl-Platz is named after him in the Lenzfried district of Kempten.
