Hugo Hofstetter (born February 14, 1994 in Altkirch ) is a French racing cyclist .

Career

After Hofstetter finished sixth in the U23 versions of the classic Paris-Tours 2014 and Paris-Roubaix third in 2015 and 2015 and also won the French U23 road championship in 2015, he drove as a stagiaire at Cofidis at the end of the 2015 season . With this UCI Professional Continental Team , he received a regular contract in 2016.

Hofstetter achieved his first international elite victory in the mass sprint of the first stage of the Tour de l'Ain 2018. In 2019, he finished fifth in the UCI WorldTour race Eschborn – Frankfurt .

For the 2020 season, Hofstetter switched to the UCI WorldTeam Israel Start-Up Nation . In March 2020, he achieved his first success in an international one-day race as the sprint winner of a top 10 group at Le Samyn .
