Hugo Medina
Hugo M. Medina (born June 10, 1929 - May 22, 1998 ) was a Uruguayan politician .
Lieutenant General Hugo Medina held the position of Commander-in-Chief of the Uruguayan Armed Forces from 1984 to 1987 . He was then as the successor to Juan Vicente Chiarino from November 19, 1987 to March 1, 1990 during Julio María Sanguinetti's presidency of Uruguayan Defense Minister.
