Hugo Schaub

Hugo Schaub (born March 22, 1904 in Altendorf (Ruhr) , † July 28, 1977 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1950 to 1962 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After elementary school Hugo Schaub did an apprenticeship as a cutter and worked as a miner. He was a member of the Miners' Association from 1918 to 1933. In 1946 he became a member of IG Bergbau . He was active as the works council chairman and deputy chairman of the Bergbau-Berufsgenossenschaft Bochum .

Schaub was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate for the SPD in constituency 63 ( Essen -Katernberg-Kray or Essen IV) in the second, third and fourth electoral periods . He was an MP from July 5, 1950 to July 20, 1962.
