Hugo de Leon Guimarães da Silva (born July 4, 1990 ) is a Brazilian volleyball player .

Career

Guimarães da Silva began his career in 2010 at home with Monte Christo. In the 2013-14 season he played for Bank Jetang in Indonesia. Then the outside attacker went to Greece, where he was active for one season each at GC Lamia and Panathinaikos Athens . In 2016/17 he played in the second Italian division with Lupi Santa Croce . The following year he joined the Polish club Warta Zawercie . In 2018 the Brazilian was signed by the German-Austrian Bundesliga club Hypo Tirol Alpenvolleys Haching . While the DVV Cup 2018/19 ended in the round of 16, Guimarães da Silva reached the semi-finals with the club in the Bundesliga playoffs . Then he left the alpine volleyball.
