Hugo von Keyserlingk

Hugo Graf von Keyserlingk (born February 4, 1939 in Jena ) is a German psychiatrist and neurologist , photographer and publicist.

After graduating from high school, Hugo von Keyserlingk trained as a precision mechanic at VEB Carl Zeiss Jena , studied human medicine at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena from 1960 to 1966 and went to Schwerin to train as a specialist.

In 1971 he made his specialist in psychiatry and neurology at the Schwerin District Nervous Clinic. In 1977 he became chief physician of the clinic for addictions and forensic psychiatry at this clinic . In 1981 he completed his habilitation at the Academy for Medical Training in Berlin.

After the political change he worked for the AHG (Allgemeine Hospitalgesellschaft) and was largely responsible for the establishment of a new clinic for psychosomatics and addiction disorders in Lübstorf near Schwerin , where he worked as chief physician until 2006.

Since 1982 he has been working as a photographer and has won prizes at numerous exhibitions (Assofoto Moscow 1987, international Zeiss-Praktica photo competition 1987 and 1989, ifo-scanbaltic 1990). In 2007 he was made an honorary member of MV-Foto e. V. appointed.
