Hulusi Fuat Tugay

Ahmet Hulusi Fuat Tugay (* 1890 in Istanbul ; † May 21, 1967 there ) was a Turkish military and diplomat.

Life

Hulusi Fuad was called after the introduction of the family name Hulusi Fuad Tugay. He was the firstborn of Sayran-i-Dil Khanum and Deli Fuad Paşa . Hulusi Fuat Tugay married Amina Duriya Khanum Effendi (* August 1897 in Tokmakburnu Yali, Istanbul, † April 13, 1975 in Istanbul), daughter of Mahmud Muhtar Pascha .

Hulusi Fuat Tugay was from 1925 to May 1, 1929 Charge d'Affaires in Tokyo . From May 1, 1929 to July 30, 1931 he was chargé d'affaires in Nanking . From 1932 to 1938 he was employed in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara. From 1938 to 1939 he was envoy in Durrës (Tirana). From May 29, 1944 to April 2, 1947, he was ambassador to Chongqing . From December 31, 1950 to January 5, 1954 he was ambassador to Cairo .

Since Ms. Fuat Tugay, like Faruq , had Ismail Pasha as a grandfather, Gamal Abdel Nasser had Hulusi declare Fuad Tugay to be a persona non grata .
