Human Waste ( engl. :, Human waste ') was the debut EP American death metal band suffocation .

background

The title track is from the previous demo Reincremation . It was the first CD on Relapse Records and is considered the first Deathgrind release ever. The album polarized the metal scene: for some, this type of music was just noise, others saw it as the consistent further development of death metal. The EP ultimately convinced Roadrunner Records , to which the band was now under contract and was able to release their debut album Effigy of the Forgotten in the same year . Jesus Wept , Infecting the Crypts and Mass Obliteration were re-recorded for this album.

Versions

In 2005, Human Waste was re-released with two bonus songs. The two bonus songs Involuntary Slaughter and Reincremation come from the first demo.
