Human energetics
The Austrian Chamber of Commerce understands human energetics to be a job description in the field of services that includes "all activities that relate to the scientifically undetectable energy field that surrounds and penetrates everything" and "includes every form of life energy, energy management and energy flow [- closes] ”. In the method catalog, only the “assistance in achieving a physical or energetic balance” is generally allowed.
According to the job description, human energetics are not authorized to perform medical activities. This means that they are denied examinations for “physical and mental illnesses or disorders, disabilities or deformities and anomalies that are of a pathological nature”, but also the assessment of illnesses, treatment, performing surgical interventions , prevention , obstetrics and prescriptions of remedies are not allowed.
Human energetic practitioners are also not entitled to “individual advice , coaching and support ” for people “in connection with personality issues, professional issues, life cycle issues, personal and social relationships and communication issues in the sense of the regulated trade of life and social counseling ”, nor are they entitled to “conscious and planned treatment of psychosocially or psychosomatic -induced behavioral disorders , and pathogenic conditions ", as not to activities in the field of physiotherapy services and activities in the field of massage and cosmetics .
The job title “human energetic” is not protected. By referring to a “scientifically unrecognizable energy field”, binding training is de facto impossible. A definition of human energetics based on natural science or the humanities is also not possible.
Gerhard Köfer works as an energetic engineer; Peter Haubner and Margarete Schramböck , among others , had a corresponding trade license .
