Humaston Brook State Park is a state park in the US state of Connecticut in the Litchfield community .
geography
The state park includes part of the upper reaches of Humaston Brooks and a short section of Turner Brooks , which join south of the park and soon after flow into Northfield Brook , which flows into the Naugatuck River . Humaston Brook forms Northfield Pond in the south of the park, which is the main attraction. To the north is the closest sanctuary to Topsmead State Forest and about 4 km further south is Black Rock State Park .

In addition to hiking, the park offers fishing at Northfield Pond.
