Humberto Bogaert
Humberto (Huberto) Carlos Conrado Godofred Bogaert Román (born March 1, 1901 in Santiago de los Caballeros , † 1962 ) was a Dominican politician and President of the Dominican Republic for two days .
biography
Bogaert was first from April 16, 1942 to June 1, 1945 Minister of Labor (Secretario de Estado de Trabajo) during the presidency of Rafael Leónidas Trujillo Molina .
From January 17 to 19, 1962, as chairman of a civil military council, Bogaert was de facto President of the Dominican Republic, succeeding Rafael Filiberto Bonelly , who followed him again after this two-day transition period. The Civil Military Council (Junta Cívico-Militar) also included Armando Oscar Pacheco, Luis Amiama Tió, Antonio Imbert Barrera , Rear Admiral Enrique Valdez Vidaurre, Air Force Officer Wilfredo Medina Natalio and Colonel Neit R. Nivar Seijas.
