Humberto Tomassina , sometimes also in the spelling Humberto Tomasina , (born September 12, 1898 , † June 12, 1981 ) was a Uruguayan football player .

Defender Tomassina played for Liverpool Montevideo in the Primera División at least in 1923 and 1924 .

National team

Tomassina was also a member of the Uruguayan senior team . In total, he completed five international matches from his debut on May 26, 1924 to his last game for Celeste on August 19, 1928. He did not score a hit.

He took part with the national team in the South American Championship in 1923 , in which Uruguay won the title. He was not used during the tournament. At the Summer Olympics in 1924 Tomassina celebrated with the squad of Celeste finally his greatest career success. The team became Olympic champions. Tomassina was involved in two games.
