The Hummer H2 is an SUV model from the former US car brand Hummer .
The H2 was GM's attempt to capitalize on the growing demand for Sport Utility Vehicles (SUV) while capitalizing on the popularity of the military Hummer. Technically, the H2 is closely related to its corporate brothers Chevrolet Tahoe and Cadillac Escalade , but looks more like the H1 . The H2 has good terrain characteristics, but they do not match those of the H1 . The Hummer H2 models can also be seen in many films and series, such as in CSI: Miami as a police service vehicle.
Furnishing
The H2 offered on-board computer, double airbag at the front, automatic air conditioning and heating, radio with cassette deck and CD player, automatic transmission, multifunction steering wheel, cruise control, central locking, electric windows, eight-way electrically adjustable leather seats (storable settings for driver's seat) and much more as standard.
Although the H2 was never officially offered in Germany, there are still some vehicles on the market. In the US, the base price for an H2 was around $ 67,000.
Body styles
The original version of the H2 was built as a regular five-door SUV with a fully enclosed cabin and trunk. In 2005 the Hummer H2 SUT (Sports Utility Truck) appeared. The SUT had a four-door passenger cabin and a loading area instead of a trunk.
Hummer H2 model year 2008
The Hummer H2, available from mid-2007, was equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 Vortec 6200 engine with 293 kW (398 hp). Nothing changed in the terrain, but the H2 received an improved interior and a complete third row of seats. There were only minimal changes to the radiator grille on the body.
Sales started in 2007, with prices starting at just under $ 70,000.
