Humpty Bump

Humpty Bump

The Humpty Bump is an aerobatic figure and is similar to the looping. The difference lies in the fact that the aircraft does not fly a vertical circle, but first flies vertically upwards before it begins a vertical downward movement at the apex.

Drawn Humpty

In order to initiate the drawn Humpty bump, the aircraft is brought from level flight to a vertical climb by pulling the elevator . Before the airplane flies a man due to lack of speed , a loop arc is initiated after showing the vertical, which in turn is stopped in the vertical. Shortly before reaching the initial flight speed, the aircraft is brought back into level flight by pulling the elevator again. During this maneuver, positive G-forces act on the pilot.

Hold down Humpty

This is basically the same figure, but the loop is not pulled, but pressed (negative).
