Role circle

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The roll circle is a difficult aerobatic figure .

In this figure, a 360-degree circle is flown, or only a half or a quarter circle, with the aircraft rolling around the longitudinal axis at the same time . One, two, three or even four rolls can be flown during the full circle. The roles can be flown inwards or outwards or alternately inside-out.

The role circle was flown for the first time by Gerhard Fieseler , an excellent aerobatic pilot and later aircraft designer ( Fieseler Storch ).
