Huna bar Natan
Huna bar Natan (also Huna ben Natan ) was a Babylonian Amora of the 6th generation and lived and worked in the 4th and 5th centuries AD.
He was a student of Rab Papa and Amemar and, apart from his friend Aschi , who was the recognized leader of the diaspora, the most important figure of his time.
Huna was very wealthy and had connections to the Persian court, where he was held in high regard. Despite his great learning and the external honors he has received, he never questioned Aschi's precedence as rabbinical leader.
According to Scherira , Huna Exilarch was Aschi during his lifetime.
