Hurricane is the name of a steel roller coaster model from the manufacturer Vekoma , which was first delivered in 1989. In total, only two systems were manufactured. The first delivery went to the French amusement park Walygator Parc , the second to the US park Six Flags Fiesta Texas , which later went to the sister park Six Flags New Orleans . Six Flags New Orleans has been closed since Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and so has the facility in this park.

The 590 m long route reaches a height of 24 m and has three inversions : a loop and a double corkscrew .

Trains

Hurricane has two trains with seven cars each. Four people (two rows of two people) can be seated in each car. The delivery to the Park Six Flags Fiesta Texas (and later Six Flags New Orleans) is a specialty, as the trains go backwards during this delivery.
