The Hurst Bay is a small bay of the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It is located on the east side of The Naze peninsula in the northeast of the island.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1985 after William Edgar Hurst (* 1933), navigation officer on board the HMS Endurance during the hydrographic work carried out in the area between 1981 and 1982 .
