Husain Suhail Humaid Abdulla Al-Abri (born November 30, 1978 ) is a former soccer player from the United Arab Emirates . He was used in the position of a striker .

Club career

Husain Suhail Humaid Abdulla Al-Abri was born on November 30, 1978. At least from the 1998/99 season he appeared for the first division club al-Jazira Club . At the end of this season he ranked sixth with the team and had contributed seven goals himself. In the following season, the team ranked fifth in the final standings; Al-Abri had scored four goals for the Abu Dhabi team. The 2000/01 season concluded al-Jazira with 38 points achieved in third place in the table; Al-Abri scored eight goals and formed an offensively dangerous duo with Joël Tiéhi (13 hits) , among others .

As many points as in the previous season brought the 2001/02 season, in which the team, however, brought it up to second place in the table. The striker scored five goals. Also in the following seasons, Al-Abri's hit rate decreased increasingly. 2002/03 still three hits on the account, he scored only one league goal in 2003/04 for his team, which after a sixth place in 2002/03 reached fifth place in the following season. After he was only used in six games in the 2003/04 season, which was divided into two groups, he was again an increasingly deployed regular from 2004/05. After he had brought it to 19 championship appearances and four goals this year, the coach used him in as many games in 2005/06; this time he only scored twice.

2006/07 al-Jazira Club reached third place in the final ranking for the third time in a row. Al-Abri was in 17 of 22 possible league games and came up with five more hits. After that, his stakes were largely on; as runner-up in 2007/08, he was only used in five championship games and remained without a goal. One of the team's goal guarantors at the time was Antonin Koutouan , who became the team's top scorer with twelve goals this season. Subsequently, Al-Abri moved in 2008/09 to league rivals al-Dhafra from Madinat Zayed near Abu Dhabi. There he was initially used under Mohammad Kwid and later under Eid Baroud again in 15 championship games, scored five goals and ranked eighth in the final standings with the team. Under Laurent Banide he was in four championship games for al-Dhafra in 2009/10 and reached ninth place with the team in the final tables; after that, no further operations by Al-Abri are known.

National team career

In 2000, Husain Suhail Humaid Abdulla Al-Abri was used under the then interim coach Abdullah Mesfer or his successor Henri Michel in two international matches in the national soccer team of the United Arab Emirates . Nothing is known about further international appearances.
