Huzityaku Hyôgen ( Japanese 不時 着 氷原 , Hepburn : Fujichaku Hyōgen 'emergency landing ice field ') is a glacier field in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located in the northwest part of the Belgica Mountains .
Japanese scientists took aerial photographs in 1976 and took surveys between 1979 and 1980. They named it in 1981 after the emergency landing made here by a Belgian expedition aircraft .
