Hyde Parker (Vice Admiral, 1786)
Hyde Parker III. (* 1786 , † 26. May 1854 ) was a British Vice-Admiral of the Royal Navy .
He served in the Napoleonic Wars and was appointed First Sea Lord by the Admiralty in 1852 . He was the son of Hyde Parker (1739–1807) and the grandson of Hyde Parker (1714–1782).
He was accepted as a Companion in the Order of the Bath and as a Knight in the Spanish Order de Isabel la Católica .
In 1821 he married Caroline Eden, daughter of Sir Frederick Eden, 2nd Baronet. He had three children with her:
- Louisa Ann Parker († 1868)
- Caroline Maria Parker († 1890)
- Sir William Parker, 9th Baronet (of Melford Hall) (1826-1891)
