The Hydra Cove is a small semi-circular bay in the northeast of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . Your head end is dominated by the 35 m high Morton Cliff , which forms the western level of Williams Point .
The bay is one of the geographical features in the Williams Point area that are named after mythical creatures. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1998 after the hydra from Greek mythology.
