Hylotox was a brand name for a group of wood preservatives and biocides in the GDR . The brand name was registered with the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA) in 1957 by VEB Fettchemie Karl-Marx-Stadt under the registration number DD621800 . The entry expired in 1998. The various preparations were distinguished by following abbreviations.
