Hyvon Ngetich

Hyvon Ngetich (born May 12, 1985 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .

In 2007 she finished second in the Chihuahua Half Marathon. In 2008 she won the Medio Maratón Puerto de Veracruz and was third in the half marathon competition of the Austin Marathon (on a track that was not suitable for the best list in 1:09:45 h) and in the 10 km run of the Ottawa Race Weekend .

In 2009 she won the Deseret News 10K, which was not suitable for the best list because of its slope, in 31:30 minutes and came fourth in the Spirit of Columbus Half Marathon.

In 2010 she won the Zapopan Half Marathon, the Ciudad Juárez Marathon, the Monterrey Half Marathon and the Gran Maratón Pacífico. In 2011 she won the Santiago Marathon and came second in the Ciudad Juárez Marathon and the Dallas White Rock Marathon .

In 2015, she ran the Austin Marathon and collapsed 50 meters from the finish line. Instead of lying there and giving up, she picked herself up and crawled on on all fours and made it to the finish line.
