In You'll Find Out , the members of an orchestra are engaged to play on the birthday of a young rich heiress. As a result, they uncover a conspiracy against the young woman. Ginny Simms played herself in the film, as did Kay Kyser.
1941 was I'd Know You Anywhere in the category "Best Song" for a Oscar nomination. However, the award went to Leigh Harline and Ned Washington for their song When You Wish upon a Star from the cartoon Pinocchio .
