Lyrics

Original English text German transmission

When you wish upon a star
Makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires
Will come to you

When a star smiles
brightly at you in a dark night ,
look to the sky and
you have three wishes

If your heart is in your dream
No request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star
As dreamers do

If life becomes a burden to
you, once you have grief
look to the sky
and the grief is over

Fate is kind
She brings to those who love
A sweet fulfillment of their secret longing

If you ca
n't buy happiness anywhere, you
want to
dream of it now and then

Like a bolt out of the blue
Fate steps in and sees you through
When you wished upon a star
Your dreams come true

Just be aware,
this world is wonderful,
look to the sky and
dreams will come true!
