Reviews
“With this Honorable Mention, the jury would like to raise awareness of artistic work with moving images. Bjørn Melhus appropriates a list of films about Vietnam veterans from American film history and transfers it to a non-American (German) location. By removing the film dialogues from their original context, 'I'm Not the Enemy' achieves an alienation effect that makes us aware of the cracks in the surface of society. "
