content

The piece is divided into two parts. The first verse raps from the point of view of a friend of Lucas who has written a farewell letter. This one was bullied because he is different. It describes the feelings of being verbally attacked because of a mental disorder . The friend has thoughts of suicide , believes that suicide is not difficult and wants to experience it for himself. He also asks himself the question of whether God exists, with the answer that he will see it soon. He felt he was useless and was overwhelmed by the thought that the world would be better off without him. With the suggestion that he will bring it to an end like Robin Williams , he wants to hang himself, but this fails. Finally he shoots himself.

The chorus says he should apologize to the family. Lucas hopes he got what he wanted. He blames himself for his suicide because he should have been more careful about him. He criticizes his friend for being too weak and selfish. He asks if he was with God and how he was doing now, if he would do it differently if he could do it again. That his friend had been depressed since he was nine years old . His memory tells him that the two were happy then and enjoyed life.
