The IAATO Islands are a group of islands in the Biscoe Islands archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located east of Renaud Island in the Grandidier Canal .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2016 after the acronym for the International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators .
