Hugo Leonardo Silva Serejo , or simply Léo Silva (born December 24, 1985 in São Luís ), is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Léo Silva learned to play football in the youth team of União Recreativa dos Trabalhadores in Patos de Minas . He signed his first contract in 2003 with Cruzeiro Belo Horizonte in Minas Gerais . From January 2005 to July 2006 and July 2008 to November 2008 he was loaned to Ipatinga zm Ipatinga FC . With the club he won the Campeonato Mineiro in 2005 . Botafogo FR , a club from Rio de Janeiro , loaned it from January 2009 to November 2009. With Botafogo he won the Taça Guanabara . About the Brazilian clubs Americana Futebol Ltda. (2010–2011) and Portuguesa de Desportos (2012) he moved to Asia in 2013 . Here he signed a contract with Albirex Niigata in Japan . The club from Niigata played in the first division, the J1 League . After 122 first division games, he moved to league rivals Kashima Antlers in Kashima in 2017 .
